It’ll give you decent acceleration and still a forgiving 5th gear hiway gear running 60mph@2590rpm and 80mph@3455rpms. I'm not sure if this has been covered before. So I pulled up on my drive a week or so ago and saw steam from from the bonnet and on further investigation found a tiny crack the radiator is at least 7 yrs old. Impreza STi Version Thing is with the McRae car Rich, it’s exactly that, has Colin’s name against it so in reality will command more to certain buyers, no disrespect to this lovely RA because we all know on here we’d rather have this than the McRae car, but the reality is, it was probably bought by an enthusiast that’s not a ( specific) Subaru enthusiast so doesn’t know there are better models made, if nXlQrL. This "Buyers Guide" / "Identification Guide" has been written to assist people in the accurate identification of a Subaru WRX STI Version 6. This guide refers to the standard Version 6 car, and does not include the 'Type R' or 'Type RA' versions, which will be outlined in another guide. The STI Version 6 was the last of the 'classic' shape or 'GC' generation STI cars produced, and therefore represent great potential as a future classic. Accurate identification of these cars is therefore important, as many features on this model can be easily replicated on a standard WRX. The Version 6 STI generally demands a price premium above many other classic shape WRX models, and we therefore hope this guide assists you in identifying a genuine car, should you be looking to purchase one. For additional background on the WRX STI Version 6, Classic Register has written an article on why the car is a great future classic chioce - click here to see Classic Register's article. This guide provides a range of identification criteria for the WRX Version 6 STI, including interior and exterior features, correct engine and chassis number identification and unique mechanical differences. Some basic statistics are outlined below or the Version 6 STI. Number Produced: 2,000 (sedan), 500 (wagon/hatch). Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA STI Limited Version 6 Saturday 23rd April My car has been away with a specialist all last week having quite a few little jobs done and I’m really happy with it. All of the aftermarket Jap wiring, Sat nav, Defi gauges, CD changer under the passenger seat and rear speakers were removed which has given it a clean look. I’ve also had the factory optional extra stereo fitted, the gearstick linkage kit fitted so the shifter is now top notch and changes beautifully, new quick steering rack bushes, and new plastic roof trim including front and rear windscreen trim. Xcore 1,020 posts 70 months Saturday 23rd April That is lovely, Probably the perfect spec classic! Saturday 23rd April This is absolutely gorgeous - I'm not ashamed to say that this is my current fantasy purchase for sensible chance of a video? Saturday 23rd April Love this, such a great car. Glad to see the removal of defi gauges. I never think they look right. Sunday 24th April Looks lovely, a friend of mine in Germany has the same ltd edition and I always drooled over it. As a fellow JDM (Hawk STI so very plain compared to a WR ltd RA) owner it is lovely to have such a clean car Defi gauges did it come with? I've got Prosport in mine which are OK but wouldn't mind seeing if Defi are worth the money over the prosport. The gauges were aftermarket fitted by the Jap owner and I want to keep everything OEM, hence had them removed. They were oil temp, oil pressure, and turbo boost. I can’t really comment as they’re the only gauges I’ve ever experienced. Sunday 24th April Looks very nice!I've been considering one of these for a little while now, could you offer any advise on how I would go about importing one?How do the numbers work out? Is it cheaper to import? Could I be cheeky and ask what sort of number would have imported your Impreza? Then of course you have the holy grail, Impreza 22B, and finally the UK 2 door model called the P1 which has ABS instead of the DCCD (Japanese models have the DCCD) and is a little softer. But if you asked me what all the differences are, it’ll be like opening a can of worms Edited by Prohibiting on Monday 16th May 09:58 Sunday 15th May That’s a lovely looking car. I’ve long had a bit of a hankering for an Impreza of this sort of vintage. This probably hasn’t been helped by doing a rally experience last weekend, which involved thrashing about on gravel in a RWD version. No room in my fleet at the moment unfortunately! So RA = 4dr and R = 2dr then?Would love a 22B; one of those many cars I wish I'd made a move on a decade ago when they were within reach.
